Destination Wedding: Long Island Bahamas

We were thrilled to say the least when Caitlin asked us to travel to the Bahamas for their wedding this past January.  Everything about the trip and wedding was an adventure and totally local.  The island is rich with history and so much of that was incorporated with their wedding.  Every place, every bite, every flower had a story. 90

From the private house they were married at to the local food served, all was 100% Bahamian and it was amazing to be completely immersed in another culture. Since we were on a very secluded island we had to have the flowers flown over on a private puddle jumper plane form Nassau. We highlighted the history and nature of Long Island by using local plants, shells, and structures as centerpieces and focal points of the wedding. Best Wishes to Caitlin & Andrew!
